About Quality Crafts of Hawaii
Our Story
Quality Crafts of Hawaii was established by Native Hawaiian wood worker and craftsman Keone Rivers.
Quality Crafts of Hawai'i is about bringing the genius and beauty of our Ancestors creations into the present. This philosophy is most iconically embodied by his signature piece and company flagship the Wahamanohalua (The shark jaw that lies in wait)a Hawaiian necklace and self defense tool of his own design that utilizes the teeth of the tiger shark Hawaiian weaponry is most known for.
It has been admired amongst many and he was often asked if he sells his craft or plans to in the future.
Our Products
Here at Quality Crafts of Hawai'i
we sell all handcrafted items that are steeped in Hawaiian Culture. We offer a variety of woodcrafts second to none or Lua'ole in our language.
There are several items we regularly craft for sale such as the standard Wahamanohalua, Hair picks, smoking pipes etc. But we also take commissions.
It is not for nothing that Quality is the first word in our name. Keone is very passionate about his craft as it not just his name carried in each piece, but those of his Ancestors as well. It is an act of Aloha to take the extra steps where others would rush
This philosophy of hardwork, reverance for his ancestors, pride in his culture and dedication to quality is present in every piece he makes.
